Bournvita for Women presents Women of Strength Cyclothon
Avad India organized 'Women of Strength Cyclothon 2018', Gurugram, to spread the message of women health and environment. The event also raised money for the education of tribal girls in Madhya Pradesh through the charity partner, TYCIA Foundation.
Widely acclaimed as one of the finest events and extensively covered by various national media houses, the event was graced by famous women celebrities.
Save Food-Share Food
FSSAI's 'No Food Waste' Yojna will enable people to call the helpline and report any leftover food from parties, marriages etc. which will be collected and served to the needy!
As FSSAI's partner in the program, Avad India managed the donations by Elanpro across the country. The event was flagged off by honourable Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan at Eat Right Mela.
Avad India presents Fight Pollution Campaign
In association with Department of School Education, Avad India initiated the campaign with Sunita Choken, ‘Naari Shakti’ awardee from President of India and ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ ambassador.
Sunita cycled 1500km to 18 districts of Haryana (22 days) to conduct ‘No To Plastic’ drive in government schools.
Students and teachers were extremely motivated to listen to Sunita's courageous story!
Flag Off of Sunita’s 1500km cycling expedition was done by Mr Ashok Khetrapal, Chairman, Haryana State Pollution Control Board at Hyatt Hotel, Chandigarh.
Happy Fridge
You can go to the nearest 'Happy Fridge' and leave your extra food, fruits, vegetables etc. for the needy ones. So that no one Sleeps Hungry..!!
Avad India partnered with Elan Professional Appliances Pvt. Ltd. in CSR project for installation and upkeep of 500 'Happy Fridges' across the country. People put their extra food in the fridge and each Fridge serves approximately 1500 free meals, every month, to the needy. This initiative was taken to minimise food wastage, eradicate hunger and create awareness in the community.
Sports for Autism
The autistic and intellectually challenged individuals are different and adorable but find it difficult to establish a mind-muscle connection and social interaction.
Avad India designed and delivered the CSR project of Unified Credit Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to improve the well being of autistic and intellectually differently-abled adults and children through specialized sports programme. This project not only has health benefits but we can observe improvement in the social interaction and participation of the beneficiaries.
COVID Relief
The pandemic came up with lots of challenges like food, livelihood, and scarcity of medical equipment.
Avad India designed and delivered the CSR projects and supported the government in the COVID relief by providing Oxygen Concentrators, meals to the needy and created awareness for hygiene and precautionary measures. These initiatives supported many lives and we are continuously finding ways to support the community in the pandemic.
